I've been a voracious reader basically my whole life. I wish I had known about this product many years ago. It was extremely easy to put together, is very well designed and constructed, and does exactly what I wanted. I love everything about it and I can honestly say it exceeds my expectations. I'm so pleasantly surprised by how much I love it - I don't think I ever considered a rolling book stand was something I needed, but I'm so, so glad I purchased this. It has already made such a difference, and is a relief for my neck, back, arms, and hands. I'm only in my forties, so I don't think I was prepared for how much better it feels to have my books elevated so that my neck and back aren't bent over. Seriously, if you're even slightly inclined to think you may want this, BUY IT. And a big, huge, hearty THANK YOU to the folks at LEVO for creating this. I will be purchasing another one to keep in our upstairs rooms.

Allows a Parkinson's patient to read again.
I ordered the book stand for my husband who has advanced Parkinson's. Most days he has trouble reading because he is shaking too hard to hold the book. The stand came promptly, was easy to put together, and he is delighted with it. He has it on the floor between his desk and his reading chair, so he can use it both places. It is adjustable enough for him to swivel it into the place where the light and the view of the book and the reach of his hand to turn pages are all "just right." This was a refurbished one, but other than the box it came in, which was quite beat up, you could not tell it wasn't new. I'm so glad I ordered it. Thank you for inventing this brilliant solution to our problem. Tom is an avid reader, and he is thrilled to be able to read again. Overcoming one of the many frustrations of having Parkinson's disease feels like a triumph.

Great product
My Father-in-law is 90 but still loves to read. This stand is the answer, it holds his book right where he wants it giving hie arms a break. The velcro holding mechanism is rather cumbersome but we found a way around that. All in all its great.

Great Priduct
I bought the refurbished model and it was great! No dents or scratches. I recently had neck surgery and it was hard to read a book. I have the Tablet stand but I didn’t want to change out the book holder and iPad holder. So I decided to get another stand. My Bible is almost 4 lbs. which is right at the limit. However, the stand holds it just fine. I love the products. They have worked great fir me.

my levo unit
I ordered the refurbished unit. It came to me quickly but had two broken casters. I received them after a little delay. I love this unit. Well built and is exactly what I needed for my reading in bed. I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it to all.

Refurbished LEVO G2 Bookholder Stand
No difference in a refurbished or a new unit. I have both in usage with great satisfaction. Relatively easy to assemble for one person. May be heavy (25 lbs +) for an elder to remove from box and set up the rolling platform. I suggest utilizing a socket and screwdriver when attaching the page holders. This will allow one to tighten the screws to their maximum, which is vital for the plate holders to function appropriately with significant pressure against each page. Depending upon which direction you need or prefer the book platform (which is holding the book) to be in front of you, may it be entering from the left or the right, the directions do not specify how to make that adjustment clearly. In order to perform this task one will have to rotate/roll/twist the platform or mounting slot (attached to the back of the book platform) itself once loosened prior to sliding the shaft into the back of the book platform. Now you can correctly have the book stand placed on the correct side of you and the book platform entering from your desired direction. The product allowed me to continue to work, research, and be completely functional from any position may it be lying, sitting, reclining, or standing. The stand and rolling platform are heavy-duty (25 lbs +) which prevents the stand from tipping when attaching a heavy book. One will definitely need this when utilizing books of 500-800 pages in length. You may need to stack a book or two on the rolling platform if you are planning on utilizing it for the 600+ page medical or law books which are more than 5 pounds. Over time, the weight of the book attached to the book platform was gradually stressing the shaft and wanting to tip the stand. Few people will be using books of that nature though. The Levo bookstand is the best product on the market. I have tried many types of stands and platforms prior to this discovery a few years ago. Many professionals read and research many hours of the day. Their materials are not the size and weight of paperback romance novels. One or more of these stands will allow you to "produce" a high level of reading and research while maintaining the stamina and endurance to continue. There is a reason the human head is not "looking up or down" for lengthy periods of the day. This stand will remove one from trying to endure any awkward head positioning. Buy it now.
