This holder has a number of nice, useful features. Inserting book covers front and back under the straps can be a little tedious for certain books. Overall though, I like it.

Great Book Stand
I bought the book stand G2 off Amazon and the functionality of it for my Bible reading. I have a large Bible and my neck gets tired of looking down. With the book Stand I can position it and read comfortably. I liked so much I decided to order just the book holders for reading in other parts of the house. I can honestly say the book holder/stand is the best from my research and looking high and low over the internet.

Great products
I purchased a book holder stand about 6 years ago and it's terrific. Fibro had made reading difficult & the stand makes it easy. More recently my husband had a shoulder replacement so we ordered the newer stand with a holder for his iPad, it worked well for him. When he no longer needed it I bought the book holder for it. Erika was so patient with me figuring out how to swap the platforms out (after I had taken it apart incorrectly.) The products are high quality and seem to last forever.

Handsome
Handsome. Classy. Looks good against our hardwood floors. Use it every day. Great for the iPad. Keeps the iPad up and off counters and desk where it was susceptible to spillage and items dropping on it. I use it next to my computer desk, in the kitchen for listening to the news while cooking and prepping, while I sit in the massage chair, and while laying on the floor to stretch. I also got the book platform, but haven't use that yet. Highly recommend.

A fan for many years, I have used your products as designed and as modified in various ways. I converted the clamp-on design to work on a rolling table for bedside and recliner chair for reading or iPad. Most of the height adjustment range devolves to the table, with fine tuning and reach by the clamp and swing arm. I’ll send pictures if you’re interested; otherwise keep up your great work.

In my previous review I noted that the Refurbished stand was sturdy and looked like new but I gave only a two star review because I had ordered a tablet stand and received a book stand. Since then I have had a conversation with Erica at the Levo store and she quickly organized a tablet holder to be sent to me. I’ve had frequent interactions with Erica in customer service and she is wonderful and has answered all my questions quickly. So I am changing my rating to five stars both because of the excellence of the product but also because of the excellence of the customer service which during this pandemic is rare indeed.

LEVO G2 Book Platform Kit
This is a quality product at a very reasonable price. I purchased the LEVO G2 Book Platform Kit at the same time as the LEVO G2 Deluxe Tablet Stand. The Book Platform holds my books and magazines securely for perfect viewing/reading. This Book Platform and the Tablet Platform are very easy to change from one to the other. The page holders on the Book Platform work exceptionally well and do not get in the way of reading. The Book Platform easily rotates in just the right position making viewing/reading a true pleasure. I love to read in bed before falling asleep, so this works perfectly for me, even when laying totally horizontal...no more tired arms and shoulders! I am very pleased with my purchase of this quality product .....definitely recommended!

How do I determine what style stand I have? What are the dimensions of the book platform? I would like to use with a book that when open measures 16” x 11”.
The easiest way to distinguish between our G1 series of stands and our G2 Series of stands is that our G1 Stands have a curved vertical post or "Shepard's Hook" similar to the product found on this page: https://levostore.com/products/levo-g1-table-clamp?_pos=1&_sid=d1be98053&_ss=r Our G1 Stands are all black and have thinner vertical and horizontal poles in comparison to our G2 Stands. Our G1 Floor Stands also use a height adjustment knob to adjust the height. Our G2 Stands' vertical posts are not curved. The vertical and horizontal posts meet at a 90 degree angle. The vertical and horizontal posts are thicker and they are in gunmetal black (dark grey). Most of our G2 Stands have height adjustment levers that adjust the height. All of the stands on our pages are G2 Stands except for the link provided above. I recently purchased the G2 deluxe iPad floor stand because I had shoulder surgery and cannot use one arm or hand. I love it and would now like to get the supplemental book kit for item 33777. I saw that one only needs” to push a button ...” to change from one platform to another. Is it likely I can do this with one hand (and perhaps some ingenuity)? Thanks.
The LEVO Tablet and Book Platforms are simple to swap out but may prove challenging with one arm. You may want to test this first. I also recommend you try this when someone is there to assist you. Once you build your current stand, you will notice how the tablet holder is mounted onto the horizontal pole. To remove the tablet holder you will need to press on the button that is protruding from the hole on the horizontal arm. This is the lock. Once the button had cleared the hole, then you pull the platform out. The book platform has the same locking mechanism. Mounting a book onto the book platform may be more difficult with one hand but can be done. You can also turn pages with one hand. It says this can hold a book weighing up to - is that true even when you’re just beginning that book, and all of its weight is supported by just one side?
The LEVO G2 Stands equipped with the LEVO G2 Book Platform Kits can hold books up to four pounds It will also support up to 7 pounds if you add a counter weight to the base such as another heavy book or hand weights.
Can a person with use of one hand turn the pages ? I understand how they would move the page out from under the clam but how do they put it under? Do you have and videos? I am looking at this for a 93 year old stroke victim who has no use of the left side of her body

How large is the book holder? Will it hold a 15.6 inch laptop?
The LEVO G2 Book Platform Kit is 16.5 x 12 inches. It is designed to hold only books, magazines, and newspapers. It will not safely secure a laptop. The good news is, we are currently designing a LEVO Stand that will hold laptops. We hope to have them available in a month.

how do you change the G2 Delux Tablet Stand to the G2 Book Platform Kit? Why can't I use G2 Book Holder Stand with an ipad?
The parts that connects both the book and tablet platforms are designed the same. The back of each platform has a small connecting arm with a protruding tab that inserts into a receptacle (cut out) on the stands horizontal arm. Books are secured to the G2 Book Holder platform with velcro straps and page plates. Since the Book Platform was not designed to safely secure tablets your tablet could crash to the floor, or perhaps worse, your face.

Yes. Our LEVO G2 Book Platform Kit works GREAT with our LEVO G2 Amped Tablet Stand. It's quick and easy to interchange between your tablet platform and your book platform. Simply push a button, then pull one platform out of the stand. Next, simply push your other platform into the socket.

Are these big/strong enough to hold the new Harry Potter illustrated editions? Those are huge books.
The LEVO G2 Table Clamps and the LEVO Floor Stands can hold books up to four pounds. The LEVO G2 Amped Stand can hold up to seven pounds when sand is added to the base.
what is the best way to raise the book up on the platform. too bad the bottom holder can't slide up and have a locking mechanism behind.
You can adjust the height of your book on the G2 Platform by using the page plates and velcro straps. Your books do not necessarily have to rest on the bottom holder as the majority of the weight is secured by these.
