* Note* This add on cradle now has a battery compartment on the back. You ordered the correct item. If you want, you can put a portable battery charger in so you don’t need to be near an outlet. I thought I received the wrong item. Both Emily and Nan (VP Levo) explained the upgrade. It is so new the website has not been updated. This is now standard, and costs the same as the dual cradle without the compartment, even though it costs more to manufacture. The addition does not change the weight and is otherwise the same. LEVO plans to use this in all stands soon. How cool is that?
I am so pleased to have a cradle like this. I have had the G2 essential stand since 2016. I have used the stand daily, but only for my Ipad. I am temporarily disabled and need to keep my neck straight (think tech neck x 20) while sitting, standing, or lying in bed. In addition, I cannot lift my left arm. I really wanted something to hold my phone and Paperwhite Kindle Oasis. I use to only read ebooks on my Ipad sitting up, as I could not look down at the Kindle. I was told I would never read in bed again. *sob* It was hard to get the bungee cradle to hold my Kindle.
The new cradle saves all this. Now I can use my small Kindle in my chair.
I am now going to purchase the G2 deluxe stand for my bed. I will be able to keep my neck straight, turn the cradle diagonally, and use a long stylus to turn pages with my good arm.
I have bought so many terrible stands for the small devices. Either they wobbled from touching the Kindle to go to the next page, would fall over, or were not tall enough. Amazon has so many fake reviews, that I now check every product on a website that sorts out false reviews.
Sticking with LEVO.
